An IGBT power supply is a power device that uses an insulated-gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) as its core power component:
How it works:
Basic principle: The IGBT combines the bipolar transistor's ability to handle high currents and withstand high blocking voltages with the MOSFET's capacitive characteristics and virtually zero-power control. By controlling the gate voltage, it regulates the switching between conduction and cutoff states across the collector and emitter terminals, enabling rapid current switching and ultimately achieving precise control over the power supply output.
Transformation process: In AC/DC conversion, the IGBT power supply rectifies alternating current into direct current; in DC/DC conversion, the fixed DC voltage is then dynamically adjusted to match the voltage required by the load.
