Magnetic yoke
The magnetic yoke is made from Wugang's high-quality, grain-oriented cold-rolled silicon steel sheets. Silicon steel sheet thickness ≤ 0.27 mm, After processing, the allowable burr on the sheared edges of silicon steel laminations is less than 0.1 mm. During manufacturing, the magnetic yoke is shaped to precisely match the contour of the coil—specifically, it features a crescent-shaped curved surface that aligns perfectly with the outer diameter arc of the coil. After assembly, the curvature and parallelism meet the requirements specified in TB/T4280-93, ensuring seamless, arc-shaped contact between the coil and the magnetic yoke for optimal, high-precision coupling. Additionally, multiple sets of secure and reliable yoke fastening devices are evenly distributed around the circumference, making installation, removal, adjustment, and maintenance both convenient and efficient.
The coil coverage area exceeds 65%; among them, the two magnetic yokes on either side of the water-cooled cable are equipped with water-cooled yokes, while the remaining yokes utilize dry-type designs. The gaskets between the magnetic yokes and the coil are made from multiple layers of high-quality insulating materials, ensuring excellent insulation and heat resistance between the yoke and the coil. Moreover, the magnetic yokes are evenly pressed against the rail bolts, providing maximum clamping force to securely hold both the yoke and the coil in place. This robust design prevents any movement of the coil during melting and pouring processes, while also extending the operational lifespan of the furnace lining. Additionally, our company was the first in the industry to introduce chamfered and dovetail-shaped structures for the magnetic yokes, effectively eliminating issues such as magnetic field concentration, overheating, and arcing at the yoke corners.
