Magnetic yoke
The magnetic yoke is made of Wuhan Iron and Steel's grain-oriented cold-rolled high-quality silicon steel sheet. The thickness of the silicon steel sheet is ≤0.27mm, The allowable deviation of the shear incision burr after processing the silicon steel sheet is <0.1mm. The magnetic yoke is made into an arc surface structure (crescent shape) that mimics the coil during manufacturing, and the arc shape is consistent with the outer diameter of the coil. After assembly, the curvature and parallelism meet the requirements of TB/T4280-93 to ensure arc-shaped contact and precise coupling between the coil and the magnetic yoke. At the same time, multiple sets of magnetic yoke fastening devices are firm and reliable, easy to assemble, disassemble, adjust, and repair, and are evenly distributed along the circumference.
The area covering the coil is more than 65%. Except for the two magnetic yokes on both sides of the water-cooled cable, which are water-cooled magnetic yokes, the remaining magnetic yokes are waterless magnetic yokes; the lining between the magnetic yoke and the coil is made of multiple layers of high-quality insulation material to ensure the insulation and heat resistance between the magnetic yoke and the coil. The magnetic yoke is evenly stressed by the rail bolts and provides the maximum holding force to the coil, which fixes both the magnetic yoke and the coil. The coil will not move during the melting and tapping process, and at the same time, it can ensure a longer working life of the furnace lining. The industry's earliest chamfered and dovetail corner structure of the magnetic yoke avoids problems such as magnetic field concentration, heating, and arcing at the corners of the magnetic yoke.
