Harmonic filtering and reactive power compensation equipment
The ZPFQ harmonic filtering and reactive power compensation device is developed and produced by our company to address the harmonic pollution of the power grid caused by medium-frequency power supplies. After more than ten years of efforts, the technology has matured, and it is now mass-produced and used in various types and specifications of medium-frequency, high-frequency, and other non-linear load systems.
Working principle and device characteristics
This device is mainly composed of filter capacitors, filter reactors, circuit breakers, and contactors (thyristors). Connected in parallel with the harmonic source, the filter device provides a low-impedance path for the harmonic current, allowing most of the harmonic current to flow into the filter, while also providing reactive power to the grid. This reduces grid distortion and improves the power factor.
